On Sunday I went to our church for the first time... it was great to see everyone again, to re-establish relationships, to sing, hear the preaching and to enjoy singing at a nursing home after service. I took some time in the afternoon to play with the children; we ended up doing a Creole lesson, where I taught them some Creole words :) It was very enjoyable!!
I can't tell you what kind of conflicting emotions are churning around inside my heart- being back home has brought back so many good things, but also challenges and various things to face- and my heart kinda trembles when I think about it all- then I am missing some things about Haiti, too... it all combines to make for some interesting emotional soup inside :) However, I am entrusting it all to my caring, loving, heavenly Father. Whatever may come, His will is perfect and everything He allows somehow fits into His master plan. My part is to walk with Him, trust Him, and arrive at the promised land.
Sometimes I feel like Abraham... where to, now, Lord? :) But his answer has simply been "Trust Me. Follow Me." So, I'm doing that :)
I was going to post some pictures of Sunday on here, but my camera got left with my Uncle Bernie, so I need to get it from him :)
God bless your day!
