Greetings in Jesus' name!

Welcome to my Stateside blog: "Nate in Iowa"! You might look at this as the sequel to my "Nate in Haiti" blog...

A bit of explanation as to why this blog has been begun: the first reason is that I've taken a shine to blogging since I was down there and really enjoy it. It's a good stretch for my mind to write and attempt to make it interesting, yet truthful, honest, and real-to-life. The second reason is for my dear "family" down there in Haiti- if any of you are interested in following my little, insignificant life here, then this is the place to come :) And for the sake of bandwidth, I'll be uploading well-compressed pictures on here, so you don't have to worry about taking up too much data.

So, welcome to you all, whoever you may be who decide to take a peak into my life here. Nate in Haiti was a closed blog, accessible to members only- this blog (for the time, anyhow) is open. There's a possibility I might close it to the public later on, depending on how things are and how I feel :) We'll see how it goes...

I look forward to what the Lord has in store for me this next chapter of my life- returning from life in Haiti, serving the Lord Jesus here in the States- it'll be a great year, because I know He will be faithful to lead!!
